Technician Terms & Conditions

For technicians and service professionals who accept work through UBOND Services.

Important. This is a strong operational and legal framework, not a guarantee that UBOND can never face a claim. Contractual penalties, liability exclusions, customer rights, privacy duties and contractor issues remain subject to applicable Indian law and the facts of each case. Any fixed penalty must be reasonable and expressly agreed, and is never an automatic punishment overriding law.

1. Onboarding & KYC

You must provide truthful identity, address, bank/payment, skill, qualification and other required onboarding information.

2. Verification

UBOND may conduct lawful KYC/background verification with the required notice and consent, and may suspend onboarding where verification materially fails.

3. Independent relationship

Unless a separate agreement or law provides otherwise, these Terms do not by themselves create employment, partnership or agency.

4. Job acceptance & SLA

Accepted jobs must be attended and completed professionally within the confirmed slot/SLA. Repeated unjustified late arrival, no-show or cancellation may result in reduced job allocation, suspension or other action under the applicable policy.

5. Customer safety & conduct

No abuse, threats, harassment, discrimination, intoxication while working, violence or inappropriate conduct. Serious incidents may result in immediate suspension and lawful reporting.

6. Pricing & overcharging

You must follow approved prices and may not overcharge, create false quotations or demand unauthorised amounts.

7. Payment / settlement — every Tuesday

Eligible technician payouts are processed every Tuesday after successful job completion, the required records/approvals and payment reconciliation — subject to dispute, reversal, fraud review, bank/payment failure or a lawful hold.

8. Unauthorised cash

Unauthorised cash collection is prohibited. Amounts collected without approval may be recovered after verification and may trigger suspension/termination and lawful remedies.

9. Direct deal / diversion

You shall not use UBOND leads, customer contact information or platform opportunities to divert customers into unauthorised off-platform work in breach of your written obligations.

10. Direct deal — consequences

A verified diversion may lead to loss of the related commission, recovery of proven losses or contractually agreed reasonable compensation, suspension or termination. Any fixed pre-agreed compensation must remain reasonable and subject to applicable law.

11. Property / theft / damage

You shall not steal, misuse or intentionally damage customer property. Proven misconduct may result in recovery, termination and civil/criminal action as applicable.

12. Parts

Parts must be accurately represented. Counterfeit, stolen or misrepresented parts are prohibited.

13. Job records

You must maintain accurate diagnosis, customer approval, job completion and parts records.

14. Safety

You must follow applicable safety standards, manufacturer instructions and use suitable tools/PPE. You remain responsible for your own unlawful acts, negligence, fraud and wilful misconduct to the extent permitted by law.

15. Customer data

Customer phone numbers, addresses, OTPs, photos and service data are confidential and may be used only for authorised service.

16. Revisit

Where a UBOND service warranty/revisit applies, you must cooperate with authorised quality checks and revisits according to the service policy.

17. Fraud

Fake completion, forged KYC, manipulated records, commission fraud, impersonation or other dishonest conduct may lead to suspension/termination and lawful recovery/action.

18. Termination

UBOND may suspend or terminate for material breach, fraud, safety misconduct, serious complaints, unauthorised collections or customer diversion, subject to applicable law/agreement.

19. Disputes

Please first raise payment/service disputes through UBOND's official process. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
